Pak cricket team practices ahead of semi-final match

Ahead of their highly anticipated clash against host India, players of the Pakistan cricket team were seen sweating it out at the nets in an intense training session at Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium in Mohali on Sunday. The Pakistan team arrived at the stadium amid tight security. Following a security alert issued by Indian intelligence agencies about militant threats by Pakistan-based outfits, police forces in large numbers have been deployed around the venue and the hotel where the team is staying. Senior Superintendent of Police of Mohali, G. P. S. Bhullar, said the security forces of both- state and federal, are prepared with their arrangements during the match.
