Pak denies involvement in Hyderabad bombings

Pakistan on Monday scoffed at a statement by YS Rajasekhara Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, that the blasts in Hyderabad were carried out by Islamist militants based in Pakistan. Foreign office spokeswoman Tasnim Aslam rejected the idea and said Reddy was jumping to conclusion without evidence. However, she condemned the blasts and said Pakistan was opposed to such acts in its "own national interest".
