German Chancellor Angela Merkel slammed Pakistan for using terror as state policy against India. At a joint press conference with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in Berlin on Saturday, Merkel said that Germany would extend its fullest cooperation to India in battling militancy. The German Chancellor during her one-to-one talks with the Indian Prime Minister and the delegation-level talks that followed, discussed the situation in the Afghanistan-Pakistan region in great detail, and also the future of enhancing security in South Asia.
