Even after ten years, family members of the martyrs, who were killed in the militant attack on Parliament in 2001, complain of delay in justice. Ganga Devi, wife of a slain policeman Nanak Chand, has expressed anguish saying that the government has backed off from its promises of providing proper compensation. India blamed Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba outfits for the attack.
