Parliamentary forum addresses environmental concerns

A Parliamentary forum on global warming and climate change presided over by Speaker of Lok Sabha, Somnath Chatterjee, on Monday sought implementation of simple steps to conserve energy and make short-term goals to achieve emission targets in the country. Chatterjee said it was imperative to take appropriate steps and synergize efforts, policies and programme to make development sustainable to address global warming concerns.
