Patnaik meets relatives

Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday visited Malkangiri district to console relatives of the victims killed by Maoists. Patnaik handed over a cheque of 400,000 rupees to the next of kin of the victims' as compensation. The attack left atleast 24 policemen dead. They were victims of a landmine explosion. Emotions ran high as the Naveen Patnaik offered his condolences to them.
