Dinabandhu Daria, came to Manas Education and Vocational Training Center for the mentally Challenged, in Koraput, Orissa in 2002 in a reportedly, dejected state. With support and encouragement he won a gold medal for cricket in Special Olympics in 2006. Centrally aided, Manas is imparting vocational training to at least 56 such mentally challenged children so as to pave the way of self-dependency for them.
