Kardun and Sangay Dolma, a couple from Tibet completed their pilgrimage on foot from Tibet to India in one year and nine months. While Kardun prostrated himself through the entire journey, Sangay Dolma followed on foot pulling a handcart of their belongings. The couple's pilgrimage finally ended in Bodhgaya. The aim of their pilgrimage was to spread the message of world peace and to pray for the long life of Dalai Lama.
