Planning Commission gives Bihar Rs. 28,000 crore outlay

Bihar is all set to receive an annual outlay worth rupees 28,000 crore from the central Planning Commission as a special package in the next 5-Year Plan for the economically backward state. Talking to mediapersons in Patna, Nitish also mentioned that the demand for special economic package to the state for the next five years with a supplementary assistance of 200 billion for infrastructure development would be taken up with the central government. He said that during the meeting with the Planning Commission, it was clarified that the amount would be used for the specific projects such as roads power and in agricultural sector
