PM announces relief for Sabrimala victims

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has sanctioned a relief of one lakh rupees each to the kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 each as compensation to those injured in the Sabarimala incident, from the Prime Minister's Relief Fund. President Pratibha Patil also condoled the incident. Kerala Finance Minister TM Thomas Isaac said that Kerala government will fund the cremation of victims.
