PM assures full support to intellectuals to curb Naxalism

Seeking to find plausible measures to curtail the rampant Maoist extremism in the country, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh met a delegation of academics, artistes and intellectuals in national capital New Delhi to discuss the issue on Monday. Besides several members of the civil society, the delegation included renowned theatre personalities like Brattya Basu and Saoli Mitra and activist Abhiroop Shankar.
