PM calls to further within BIMSTEC nations

Prime Minster Manmohan Singh has called for increased cooperation among the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation or BIMSTEC nations to tackle the global economic turmoil. Chairing the day-long BIMSTEC second Summit being attended by the leaders of Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Thailand in New Delhi on Thursday, Singh said BIMSTEC is an opportunity, which member nations should seize together.
