Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday dedicated a 2000-kilometre long gas pipeline to the nation, which runs from western Dahej port to northern Bhatinda town, near Pakistan, to meet the growing domestic demands. Addressing the inaugural function of the seventh Asia Gas Partnership Summit in New Delhi, PM hoped the project completed by state-run Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) could be extended to the border with Pakistan for the transshipment of fuel.
