PM hopes to introduce Lokpal Bill in monsoon session

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on Thursday said the government is hoping to introduce the Jan Lokpal Bill that would fast track the process of fighting corruption, during the Monsoon Session of Parliament. The Prime Minister also stressed on the need to have a transparent system for the welfare of the people. He also admitted corruption had lifted the faith of the people from the government and its functionaries.
