PM Modi flags off ‘Run for Unity’ to mark Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary

Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off 'Run for Unity' at Rajpath, New Delhi on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhai Patel's 139th birth anniversary. Modi then administered the Unity pledge to thousands of participants present at Rajpath. The government had announced that it would observe the birth anniversary of Patel on October 31 every year as National Unity Day as a tribute to his efforts to unite India.
