Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, while returning from Tehran after attending the 16th NAM summit, today dismissed BJP's demand for his resignation over the controvertial CAG report on coal block allocation. Speaking to reporters onboard, Singh also uncharacteristically lashed out at the BJP for causing governance problems by not allowing Parliament to function and said that the opposition party was "resorting to diversionary tactics" as it was "restless for power". Talking about the growth rate, Singh said that there was a lack of cohesive coordination in domestic politics which has been a factor for not being able to lay foundation for 9% growth rate in the country.
