Updated on May 30, 2012 11:33 am IST
Consequent to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's reaction to team Anna's allegations of corruption charges against him in allocation of coal blocks between 2006 and 2009, Team member Prashant Bhushan has said that the Prime Minister should have looked into the allegations before dismissing them. Reacting to the Prime Minister's statements in the matter, social activist Anna Hazare, told mediapersons that he would be travelling to New Delhi on June 3 to look into the matter. Meanwhile, reacting to the reports that the Prime Minister had offered to quit his political life if the allegations were found to be true, BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy said that the Prime Minister must have made the statement in a state of anguish.
