PM urges for global nuclear disarmament

Expressing concern about growing risk posed by nuclear weapons, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has urged for global nuclear disarmament. Manmohan Singh inaugurated a conference on 'Towards a World Free of Nuclear Weapons' in New Delhi on Monday. In the conference, Singh advocated the need for a collective approach in anchoring an international partnership to ensure universal nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation in a time-bound manner.
