PM visits victims of Mumbai attack

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday visited the victims of Mumbai attack. Singh is accompanied by chairperson of United Progressive Alliance Sonia Gandhi, Home Minister Shivraj Patil. Chief Minister of Maharatshra and farm minister Sharad Pawar also accompanied Singh during the visit. Maharashtra government has announced a compensation of 500,000 rupees for families of the 14 policemen personnel killed in the gun battle with the militants.
