PM vows to fight corruption

On the occasion of the successful completion of two years of India's ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA) in power, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Sunday said that the government was concerned over the issue of corruption and would fight it. He ensured to take initiative to prevent discretionary and arbitrary use of power by public officials in the future. Singh also emphasised on the issue of terrorism and urged the people of the country to stand together against such violent acts.
