Police arrest three Maoists in Chhattisgarh

Police arrested three Maoists in Chhattisgarh's Bhanupratappur village on Tuesday. The Maoists were nabbed on a tip from Bheela village in the state's Kanker district. Police said two of the Maoists are in their early twenties, while the third is around 40 years of age. The police told media persons that the Maoists were involved in activities like obstructing roads, exploding a mobile phone tower, planting explosives in roads and burning earthmoving vehicles meant for the construction of roads.
