Police get special arms-training to tackle Maoists

After Dantewada massacre in which maoists killed 76 CRPF personnel; police in Jharkhand are undergoing a special arms-training exercise to combat the increasing rebel violence. Officers in charge of 131 police stations located in Maoist-infested areas of the state are being trained in state-of-the-art weaponry and are being imparted knowledge on intelligence inputs in the programme. The training program is being conducted at the Bariatu firing range in Ranchi city.
