Police restrictions on fast 'unacceptable': Prashant Bhushan
Updated on Aug 14, 2011 10:52 pm IST
Senior lawyer and Lokpal Bill panelist, Prashant Bhushan on Saturday showed serious displeasure over the conditional permission granted to them by the police to stage a protest in New Delhi against the government's version of the Bill. Talking to mediapersons, Bhushan said that conditions imposed by the government for allowing the fast are unreasonable and unacceptable. The Delhi Police has denied permission to Team Anna to hold fast-unto-death, starting from August 16, at Jantar Mantar, a landmark in the heart of New Delhi and offered him Jaiprakash Narain Park about five kilometers away, as the alternative venue.
