Police seize explosives from Kanara district in Karnataka

In a pre-dawn raid conducted at Artadka in Bantwal Taluk of Kanara district in Karnataka, police personnel seized explosives on Friday. Later briefing the media persons at Mangalore, the district headquarters, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Harishchandra gave a detailed description about the seizure. He mentioned that 18 bags of ammonium nitrate were also seized. Besides, around thousand electronic detonators 650 gelatine sticks and battery charcoal were recovered during the raid.
