Political tussle over Ramdev's anti-graft stir intensifies

Two days prior to Indian Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev beginning his anti-graft stir, leaders from across the national political spectrum on Thursday remained divided on the relevance of his fast-unto-death and exerting pressure on the government to effectively tackle the issues of corruption and black money. Addressing mediapersons in Hyderabad, Congress senior leader, Rashid Alvi, called Ramdev 'over-ambitious' and accused him of politicising issues of national concern under the guise of being a Yoga trainer.Keywords: Ramdev, Political spectrum, Fast-unto-death, Black money
