Politicians are trying to malign my image: Kanda

Former Haryana Minister Gopal Goyal Kanda, the prime accused in Geetika Sharma suicide case today said that some political leaders are trying to tarnish his image. The Police custody of Kanda who surrendered last Saturday will end today. Kanda would appear before the court and the Delhi Police is likely to seek extension of his custody today. Talking to media persons Kanda said that the truth would be unravelled. Kanda was named in the suicide note left behind by Geetika, who worked as an airhostess for his defunct MDLR Airlines. Prior to this on August 17, the Delhi High Court had turned down Kanda's plea for anticipatory bail.
