Politicos and lawyers welcome Kasab's hanging

The political and the legal fraternity today welcomed the execution of Ajmal Kasab, the lone survivor of the 2008 Mumbai attacks.Chief minister of Maharashtra, where the dreadful terror attack killed 166 people in 2008, today said that the execution of Kasab proves that in India only the rule of law prevails. Other political leaders cutting across the Indian political divide also hailed the decision. Meanwhile, special public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam, who appeared for police in the case said that by Kasab's execution, homage has been paid to all those who lost their lives in the 26/11 attacks.
