'Poor implementation cause frequent train mishaps'

After deadly train accident in West Bengal, which claimed over 60 lives, IIMS Rana, a former Chairman of Railway Board and Railway Disaster Management Committee in New Delhi on Tuesday blamed poor implementation of safety policies and lack of political will for the frequent mishaps in the country. Rana also noted that the massive burden on the railways takes a toll on the maintenance of such a wide network.
