'Prachanda' calls for a new basis for ties with India

Nepal's former prime minister and Maoist leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal or 'Prachanda' on Saturday called for a new basis for ties with India. Prachanda, Chairman of the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist), held talks with visiting Indian Foreign Minister S M Krishna and raised the issues of "unequal" old treaties, border encroachment and economic development.
