Pranab Mukherjee presses for India's permanent UNSC seat

President Pranab Mukherjee has pressed for the country's permanent United Nations Security Council seat. While addressing the 13th International Conference of Chief Justices at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Mukherjee said the world's largest democracy is 'eminently suited' for the position at the international organization.
