Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday projected the country's economic growth to be in the range of 8.5 and 8.75 percent for the fiscal year 2010-11 taking into account some uncertainties in calculating the figure for a huge economy such as India. Maintaining that the figure could fluctuate to 8.75 percent, Mukherjee explained that calculations of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in an economy chiefly depended upon critical variables such as monsoons.
