Pranab sworn in as 13th President of India

Pranab Mukherjee was sworn in as the country's 13th President in the central hall of the Parliament today. Ahead of the swearing-in Pranab along with outgoing President Pratibha Devisingh Patil greeted the Members of the Parliament present, following which the national anthem was played. A formal change of guard ahead of the swearing-in was witnessed as customary.
