Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday urged the Bharatiya Janata Party to allow the Parliament to conduct business during the ongoing monsoon session. He said this after meeting the BJP leaders in L K Advani's chamber for discussing how important legislation could be passed. Both the Houses of the parliament have been disrupted following the uproar by lawmakers and parliamentarians of BJP over the recent findings in the apex auditing body CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General of India)'s report on 2010 Commonwealth Games.
