Preparations for Eid-ul-Fitr on

Muslims on Saturday thronged the markets in Delhi for last minute shopping ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, which falls on October 14. Shops outside Jama Masjid saw a huge number of customers, purchasing new clothes and shoes for the occasion. Meanwhile, a section of Shiite community in some parts of Kashmir valley, Kargil and Leh celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr on Saturday, a day ahead of the rest of the muslim community in the state.
