Prez confers Padma awards to 66 eminent personalities

President Pratibha Patil conferred the nation's prestigious civilian Padma Awards for the year 2010 to 66 eminent personalities from various fields in the New Delhi on Wednesday. Padma Vibhushan was awarded to three renowned people for their commendable achievements. They included Ebrahim Hamed Alkazi, former head of National School of Drama, for his significant contribution to the field of theatre, fine arts and culture on national and international level over a period of five decades.
