Rahul Gandhi discounts prime ministerial ambitions

Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday refuted media reports that he nurtured hopes of becoming prime minister. A section of the media had quoted Rahul Gandhi as saying that his elevation to the prime minister's post would remain and was not a closed chapter. The young lawmaker said the media misinterpreted him. Rahul is on his first visit to the state after taking over as the general secretary of the party.
