Rahul waits, as UP counts its votes

Of the 12 crore voters in the state 7.57 crore had exercised their rights in seven phases for the 403 member assembly seats. Of the new voters in the state 55 lakh are from the 18-19 year group, who were wooed by Rahul Gandhi from Congress and Akhilesh Yadav of SP. Young, senior and women voters of the state had come oust in large numbers to poll their choices.
