Railway budget 'deceitful': CPI-M

Criticizing Railway Budget presented by Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee in Parliament on Friday, the Politburo member of Communist Party of India (Marxist) Sitaram Yechury called it a 'deceitful budget'. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi on Friday, Yechury described the Railway budget as a series of announcements, which has been prepared under coalition compulsions. Meanwhile, BJP senior leader Gopinath Munde on similar grounds said that the budget is big joke played on the nation.
