Rains bring life in Patna to a standstill

With incessant rain for past many days, situation in Patna is further worsened as water in many areas entered into homes and shops. Floodwater has inundated vast swathes, damaging roads and destroying crops. People fear that water logging may trigger water borne diseases. The state's meteorological office predicted more rains in the next four days, which is likely to worsen the situation further.
