Rains bring life to drought-hit Bundelkhand

The parched land of Bundelkhand breathed a new life as rain showers touched the drought hit region after years. The people are rejoicing as the rains spell an end to the drought in the region. The region had not received any rainfall for the past three, four years and was currently facing a major water crisis. People had even started migrating from Bundelkhand. The fields in the state were dry and even the livestock could not sustain in such conditions.
