Rajasthan continues to be tense

Hundreds of people belonging to Gujjar community continued protests on Wednesday a day after 14 people were killed in police firing on protesters demanding reservation in government jobs and college places. Agitators said they would call for a shutdown on Thursday in protest against the police action. Meawhile six Member of Parliament belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party sent in their resignation letters, which would still have to validated by the party.
