Rajasthan strike: Death toll rises to 24; 300 doctors arrested

Health services remain crippled at government hospitals across Rajasthan for a fourth day in a row. With the Rajasthan Government not budging from its stand, as many as 10,000 striking doctors have tendered their resignations. The death toll owing to the strike has risen to 24 while the number of doctors arrested under the Essential Services Maintenance Act has crossed 300. Meanwhile, the Army's medical wing has deployed two teams in Jaipur and opened its Alwar Hospital for civilians.
