Uttar Pradesh police today refused to arrest BJP chief Rajnath Singh in the controversial CD case. Singh offered court arrest, following the fling of the FIR by the election commission of India. But the police said the case is still in the initial stages and no arrest warrant was issued against Singh. The BJP chief said he was not at fault, the election commission cannot absolve of its responsibility for leveling such charges against him.
