Ramesh slams IPCC over its claim on glacier melting

While speaking to media persons at New Delhi on Monday, Environment and Forests Minister Jairam Ramesh termed the claims of the Nobel prize winning group, United Nations Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which said that most of the Himalayan glaciers would melt by 2035, as alarmist, saying the report was not based on any scientific evidence.
