Rebel group impose dawn to dusk shutdown in Guwahati

A 12-hour shutdown has been imposed by the United Liberation Front of Asom and supported by the National Democratic Front of Bodoland protesting against the killing of their cadres in police custody, on Thursday. Roads remained mostly deserted, shops and financial institutions, closed, while schools were open. A few private buses were seen on the roads.
