The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on Monday said that the Maoist attack of Sunday was a result of intelligence failure. He also said that an inquiry would be made into the tragic lapse in which at least 30 policemen went missing. The Maoist rebels on Sunday hailed gunfire on the boat carrying police in Orissa's Malkangiri district. When the policemen were taking position the boat capsized in the reservoir near Allampetta village.
