Reddy inaugurates CWG’10 archery range

Union Urban Development Minister S. Jaipal Reddy inaugurated the Yamuna Sports Complex on Friday, a venue for archery during the upcoming Commonwealth Games in New Delhi. The stadium has a capacity of around 3,500 seats and would host the preliminary rounds of the archery events during the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Tejinder Khanna, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, who was also present at the inauguration, expressed confidence that the under-construction work for the games would be completed well in time for the Games.
