The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has tried to distance itself from a controversy brewing in the main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday. It has been reported that there is a tussle in the BJP as to who would succeed main opposition leader Lal Krishna Advani when he steps down from the Constitutional post. Mohan Bhagawat, Chief of the RSS, is allegedly believed to have issued a directive on choosing the successor.
