S-Band 'fiasco' a media creation: former ISRO chief

K. Kasturirangan, former chief of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), in Coimbatore on Saturday vehemently defended the country's apex space body over allegations of irregularities in the allocations of S-Band spectrum. Asserting the government was aware of all affairs pertaining to ISRO, the veteran space scientist deemed the 'fiasco' a 'media creation.' Recently, certain reports exposing irregularities in the allocation of S-Band spectrum by ISRO triggered a massive political storm across the nation.
