SAARC nations meet, aviation policy,security high on agenda

Transport ministers of eight South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries on Tuesday met in Indian capital New Delhi.The meeting was expected to give a major and renewed thrust to trade and economic cooperation among the SAARC nations.The ministers discussed aviation policy,providing direct flight links to all countries capitals and a regional motor vehicle agreement, which could enable barrier-free movement of people and freight.
